JOB limitations

    Hello

    Maybe somebody knows whats is the maximum file size of JBI file and maximum number of points for DX200 and YRC1000 controllers ?

    I test it, each job can have 9999 step.

    More than this number step in each job give error.

    There is not really a maximum file size for either controller. The file size is determined by the number of root instructions and their tags.

    A job on either is limited to 10,000 instructions including the NOP and END. The user can program up to 9,998 instructions in a job. These can be all motion or non-motion or a combination of both. Maximum number of positions in either controller is 20,000.

    In the Main Menu, JOB, is JOB CAPACITY. This will show you the number of JOBS in the controller, the number of STEPS being used, the STEPS REMAINING. Also, how much memory is being used and how much is remaining.

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.
