    Hi guys,

I have MG40 80 45 s0 KUKA motor, I was wondering how to reduce or increase the torque value for the motor. i am using workvisual for cruising the parameters but finding it difficult to locate where and which value chages the torque of the motor.

torque is proportional to current. increasing current limits will burn motor.

decreasing current limits is safe to the motor. changing values may require use of catalog editor as many parameters are locked. normally one would reduce current or torque only temporarily and this is documented in system integrator manual.
