Workvisual communication with S7-1200 VARIABLES

    Hi everybody, i have a problem with the communication of variables between my KRC4 et S7-1200 siemens.

    1.- Successful project import KRC4 towards workvisual

    2.-programming and diagnosis/create connection

    *controller name:502650

    *IP address:172.31.1.147

    *version: V8.3.39.483

    3.- equal information with KRC4

    it is unclear what you are doing and how to reproduce the problem.

    WorkVisual creates temporary files and folders. in your case it seem that it found the previous one. just find it and rename it, then try again.

    I think my problem is with the name of my controller, but i am not able to change the identification

    example: 502650 windows-8M0RJ9S.

    why would you want to change that on the robot side? one is a serial number of the robot and it is assigned by KUKA. the other is windows machine name which can be changed but makes no difference anyway.

    i would look for a folder with same name on the computer running workvisual and if found rename it (by adding suffix "_old" or similar). if that fixes the problem, should be safe to delete it.

    as mentioned in READ FIRST topic, there are bunch of handy tools. one of them is a a tiny and blazing fast search engine called Everything. with this you can quickly locate files and folders if you know part of the name.
