I have an old Fanuc S-480R robot that is in great condition. I bought some goods at an auction and this was the amongst them. The controller unfortunately is non-existent. Is there a world that exists where I can get this robot operational and if so, what would be the most economical way?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

DDR001 if you don't have a control, you recycle it and just buy a newer one with a control at another auction. You'll have difficulty even connecting to a robot this age, let alone find parts, etc.

mike_75_springfield: Many robot resellers have eBay stores where you can access their (hopefully current) inventory.

DDR001: As Fanuc-ache says, it's cheaper to just buy a much more current used one. I suggest marketing it as a movie prop.
