KUKA iiwa real-time timestamps

  • Hello there,

    I am a new learner, and I have a problem with time between different( setDestination()) intervals in real-time applications. Is it possible to set timestamps as close as possible to have relatively similar timestamps? For example, set that to the maximum time duration for cycles, I want to find the velocity of joints from positions, and different time intervals can cause problems.

  • Velocity is simply change of position in time. Length of interval does not matter.


    For example save position at time initially

    Then after some small interval take the current time an position. Calculate change and divide to get speed then save the position and time again... Rinse wash repeat...
