NX100 Compact Flash for PP

  • I currently have 1-128K compact flash for the teach pendant, I would like to get another. Can I use something bigger such as 2 gig and if so, do I need any special formatting. I have tried to use some 32K but keep getting error when trying to rea or write.

    Tks

  • Sure you can use bigger. Yaskawa said maximum was 10 Gb, I believe. I use a 1 Gb all the time. I’ve never tried bigger since back when NX was out CF cards that big were very expensive.

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

  • I have used a 1Gb Trascend industrial CF all this time, with a Hama converter (00055348). I format this card on win7 in fat32 and it has always worked with a NX100.

    Even in a Fanuc RJ3 from early/mid 00s
