Have you also allocated your DI in the Fanuc?
I only see evidence of DO.

We have it working. One of our technicians discovered that if we used slot 10 instead of slot 1 like the manuals say and the way our other forty robots are programmed it now works.
SO instead of configuring our DIO as 89-1-1 we now have 89-10-1 and under the ethernet IP we have connection #1 as false and connection #10 as true. It now communicates with the PLC instead of giving me incorrect size errors. I am not sure why slot 10 works and not slot1. Makes no sense.
Interesting to know.
Would be interested to hear just why slot 10 has to be used though, whether this is due to the PLC side or the Fanuc side?
Glad to hear it's working and thanks for sharing the result.

Can you explain to me exactly what do you do, and the configuration please, I have the same problem right now!
Thanks!

Display the digital outputs (for example) Menu,I/O, DO
Once you see the outputs display, look for a F button "Config", click it , then you'll see the outputs, racks, etc
Sure, that is.
Also, I will send you others configurations screens.

with the 32ms of RPI.
The Fanuc input size is four 16 bit bit words. Your AB generic module is using four 32 bit dint.
Either set the PLC to 2 in and 2 out, or disable the adapter on the Fanuc side and set it to 8 in and 8 out. You have to disable it first to change the settings and then re-enable to turn it back on.
Better yet, create a new module setup as INT instead of DINT so they are all talking the same language. It will make setting up group I/O much simpler.
Someone knows how to control these Inputs (RO) of Fanuc Robot, also the Registers with Allen Brandely PLC. Now I have communication in both directions, but just with Digitals IO s.
Thanks.
Register can be control with the instruction MSG in Allen Bradley PLC.
RI/RO are the input/output you use physical in a connector "EE", but you can interconnect with a DI/DO

Thanks to both! Another question, how I can access to position register with MSG in Allen Bradley, Because now just have access to normal registers.
Thanks!
It is all detailed in the Fanuc EthernetIP setup manual. However, I would recommend just sending a few values to normal registers first then making a small program on the robot that sets the PR elements to those values. I think that is a much simpler way to do it.
