Hi there,
I own a Kuka KR3 KRC3 robot and I can t find documentation for it.
I was wondering if someone has some wiring and air line diagrams for the 14 pin connector on the side and for the ai lines.
Any info is much appreciated.
Best regards.

looks like Lemo connector
Thanks,
I will look it up.
The funny thing is that I have all the original CD s wich came originally with the robot.
But there is no documentation about this particular robot whatsoever .
The KR3s were, IIRC, actuall re-labelled Denso robots. It's a bit of a long shot, but if you could find the original Denso model, you might find something.
That said, there's no guarantee that KUKA used that pinout the same way, so you'd have to be cautious about taking the Denso diagrams at face value.
I only time I ever used one, it came pre-assembled with a gripper, and I only used it for a week, so I never had a chance to dig into the hardware.
not to be mixed...
this is KUKA KR3. This image shows wrist without connector. This arm was paired with KRC3 controller. (similar shape and size of KRC4 compact and KRC2SR)
To make things more confusing there is a newer KR3, better known as KR3R540 (Agilus)/.
This arm is paired with KRC4compact or KRC4smallsize or similar
KUKAs with robot Denso arms looked like this (see below). This one was paired with KRC2SR controller.
KUKA Xpert portal has info on all of them. It includes pinout of the connector but i did not see mention of actual connector part number.
Wow, thanks. This is really helpful.
Any info about the workings of the air lines which are on the other side of the 4th axis, oposite to this connector?
