Ah yes i checked everything which is not 9xx and corrected it as written on the intialization sheet.
C-Series controller for Kawasaki FS 10E, servo board communication error after reinitialization without backup!
- red0eye
- Thread is Unresolved
-
-
Carry out an initialization again and directly afterwards post the Aux func 90 screenshot.
-
software intitialization or hardware with pin 8?
-
Hardware please.
-
Good Morning,
sorry i was to tired yesterday!
-
initialization
-
AUX 90
-
Please carry out a hardware initialization, that is not a hardware initialization?
Use the attached instead.
This will render the controller 100% non operational until some base settings are applied.
So be warned.
-
but i have no backup... how to apply these settings?

If you had a known good backup whilst it was working, we would know if it was data or hardware at this point already.
The error relates to non communication (hardware/cable disconnection).
You would be unlucky to have hardware issues, considering you said it was working and just suffering from encoder battery issues but not in the realms of possibility.
Assuming no cables are damaged, disconnected, we have to assume software/data corruption.
As we don't you have a known good backup to categorically prove hardware/software.
Make your choice:
1. Buy 1GA try it.
2. Buy 1GB try it.
3. Wipe controller and rebuild it and make sure the RAM battery is new.
As you have no known good backup.
Make a backup now and then carry out the procedure.
But saying that, make a backup THEN only carry out part 1 of procedure and report back:
- Aux 90 data.
- Errors which could be reset, errors which can't be reset.
As you don't have a known good backup, this is what will have to be done to try and resolve it.
** yes, I have mentioned known good backup many times, a subtle hint for the future **

Hey sorry for the long wait,
i had a lot of work and i can only work on the robot in my spare time but i realy want to get it working... i have so much ideas for it
i think i did this before i started the thread... so everythig you see should be standard i just typed in the things i knew with zrobot function...
I'm sorry i know this is super stupid! and it cost me a bit of time and anger to jump over myself...
This is also why i asked you how to enter the basic setup for example how to set servo type (all 900 functions) I have the initialization sheet which should have all the information but i don't know how to enter it...
Also while cleaning its possible i stepped on a cable to the robot... can a cable breakage to the robot cause this?
Can i use the same serial connection which is connected to a floppy drive for the pc serial port`?
Thank you again very much for your help!
best regards
Simon

You're controller is currently US, you have already wiped all of the previous data by applying incorrect procedures, boards have been removed, batteries disconnected, RAM data corruption possible, possible cables not connected.........etc etc etc etc etc etc
We don't know if this is hardware or software.
Please carry out a hardware initialization procedure and follow part 1 only and report back the following:
- Aux func 90 data (screenshots).
- Errors that appear first, the errors that appear after pressing reset button (screenshots).
