first of all thank you for this forum!
I have the honor of owning an old industrial roboter from Kawasaki the FS 10E! I realy want to get it working for 3d printing!
I already had it working in manual mode but because of the empty encoder batterys, i had to zero it every time!
I called Kawasaki and ordered new ones.. They arrived today and i was about to connect my computer, but because i always remove the Power caple from the robot something (like the ram battery) must have gone empty! I don't have a pc card or any backup... so what to do? ah yes put pin 8 up with pin 1 and start a reinitialization (from the 1GA / 1HA board)
then i had a checksum error which i reseted again....
and this is why i'm here now!
now it wants to talk to servo board (A) and (B) but doesn't know how.....
I will now connect my computer with the newest Kawasaki software and let's see maybe they have more options!
