TP Enabled SO used as an input to Safety PLC?

I am looking for a way to get the status of the TP enabled switch as an input in the connected Safety PLC. I have tried looking at using the Safe I/O connect in DCS but I can't figure it out. Does anyone know a safe way of doing this or if it is even possible?
