We have a Fanuc robot that travels between machines on an overhead rail. Our operators would like to see where the robot is without walking outside of their work area to look up at the robot. The 4D graphics display looks like it would be a perfect solution for this if I could show it on a monitor other than the pendant. I want to have this always displayed on a separate screen that they can just glance up at. Is this possible without any additional options? I don't see anything on the robot's web server that looks like it can access 4D graphics from a separate computer.

I would just do this with a video camera and monitor. And if you record the video feed you can use it for troubleshooting.

Does your overhead crane rail have positioning sensors on it? Possibly feeding to a PLC?
Is so the programming to turn those position sensors to a screen presentation is quite simple, we have them in many places for different overhead or ground traveling machines.

Short of something more robust, can't you still use the web browser and view "echo" the teach pendant without remote ipendant?
