Hi Guys,
Do you know what HMI brands can connect to the Yaskawa robot controller?
My controller is DX200 and i will connect a HMI to it but I don't know what models and with which protocol can connect.

It is depends on your work, what data will transfer between HMI and controller?

Vipa and Proface interface directly to the robot controller.

You can use two protocol for communication,
High speed Ethernet that Vipa and Proface use it, and Modbus-TCP that some of HMIs can work with it.
If use High speed Ethernet, you have access to all things but with Modbus-TCP you can read/write variables and I/Os only. (Not P and S variables)

Check the Ethernet function, if it is enable, the High speed Ethernet function can use too.
for Modbus, the function usually use in Europe, please contact with Yaskawa for it.

There are many brand names HMI can communicate with the YASKAWA Robot controller.
WIth me: YASKAWA Panel ( Before VIPA HMI) throughout Ethernet High-Speed Server.
or Proface with a library included Add Ôn YASKAWA Robot.You can try. Good luck!
