KRC2 VIO driver

    Has anyone information about KRC2 VIO driver ? As far I understand it support Virtual IO from ethernet channel but I didn't found any information about that. I have special application and I need control physical I/O signals without field bus.

  • Virtual IO is a very useful tool.

    It constists of two parts:

    - vio driver (may be found in the driver directory)

    - vio.exe (windows application - hard to find)


    Big advantage:

    with driver and windows application you can set inputs for the krc

    Next time, I suggest you create a separate thread, when asking about a subject different from the original thread.


    About Synchromove, you will find the manual inside Synchromove folder at robot D: drive, inside KUKA_OPT folder (or something like this).


    But You need to know that Synchromove is a black box. You will choose some parameters, as enable/disable a virtual axis, and what type of virtual axis is that. And thats it.
