Hello Everyone,
I have about 4 sensors that needs to send its data over Gbe ethernet IP to the Kuka KRC4 UL compact controller. The KR C4 controller only has one ethernet X66 port(That's the KLI port). Can I connect the X66 port to an ethernet switch and connect all 4 sensors to the ethernet switch for data exchange with the controller without causing any delay in data exchange? (Versions : KSS 8.5, Ethernet KRL 3.0, RSI 4.0 )
Would it have to be a managed switch, or an unmanaged switch would work fine?
I was considering using the beckhoffs EL6601 or EL6614 ethernet modules but I have tried importing the beckhoff's XML file to work visual, all other beckhoff modules imports successfully but the EL6601 and EL6614 ethernet modules aren't showing up in work visual DTM Catalog after importing. The KR C4 comes with the beckhoff EK1100 module and I was thinking the Ethernet modules EL6614 or EL6601 can be added or mounted on the existing EK1100 bua system.
Also I should also say that I need this sensor for real time control of the kuka robot via the RSI(Robot Sensor Interface).
Thank you.
