Robot Not Keeping Remote Settings

Hello,

I have a custom HMI screen for operators and am trying to get a button working to start the main program. Currently doing this by setting $SHELL_WRK.$CUST_START to a 1 with the button and have setup the Prog Select using OTHER.

I need the Remote/Local setup in System>>Config to be "Remote" and $RMT_MASTER set to 0 for the button to work. However, every time I restart the controller, they are automatically set back to "OP panel key" and 2. As far as I can tell there are no programs being automatically ran at startup. Any idea what could be causing this?

Turns out my question is irrelevant, this problem was happening in ROBOGUIDE but when I uploaded it onto the actual controller it's working... Hoping I can save someone some time by saying at least try it on the robot first. What a day
