If you ruin the power supply of the robot it will probably cost you much more to replace than to just buy a 24 power supply in the first place.

Yeah you're right, will need to have a external supply. so another question since those output ports are attached to 7.5A fuses does that mean in theory the power supply is cable of with standing that much current draw (obviously less than the 7.5A).
