Yes, you can use UOP's. Specifically UI[5:Fault Reset].
-
Also the reset button on the operator panel of the controller can be used.

Thanks for the help

Ui5 doesn’t reset the alarm. I have to go into the teach pendant to clear the alarm then ui5 clears the fault. Any other suggestions to clear alarm through my hmi? Thanks. My di5 is configured correctly.

What is causing the alarm? Are you sure it is cleared when you set UI5?
Can you share a screen shot of your UI config Screen? (I/O - > Type -> UOP -> in/out -> Config)

and do you have the UI assigned to DI s you can use the PLC ?
That alarm is for Fence Open
-
And did you enable the UI signals?
-
And did you select Remote control, not Local.

All of my di and ui signals are working correctly. I am able to run the robot using hmi to a plc. What i am trying to do is set up my safety fence. When my light curtain beam is broken the safety relay opens EAS 1,11 . That shuts down the robot and sets an alarm. What i want to do is reset the alarm from the hmi not the teach pendant.

Answer was given in post #2. If that doesn't work it may be due to you having it wired wrong. (single channel vs dual channel).
In your post you said EAS 1-11. You need to open and close both pairs of terminals. 1-11, and 2-21. If you only do one you will get a single channel fault every time.

thanks i will try that
