i am trying to get the point position name for where i am at to output into my own software, the issue which i found and i am suprised about is $IP_PRO.P_Name[] reverts to "" (blank) when it is at position, quite suprising.
i've been in contact with Kuka Support and they've said this is expected but you'd need to use logic as a way to get the name out whilst the Robot is in motion.
Using:
IF $PRO_MOVE THEN
POS_NAME[] = $PRO_IP.P_NAME[]
ENDIF
but this doesn't hit because $PRO_MOVE is always false after the move command.
is there a better way of doing this? is there a correct way of doing this? is there a way of getting the point name i'm actually at (how is there not!)
