FTP backup on PORT1 or PORT2?

Hi,

I am having a Econtroller it has two ports.

port1= it's written data port

port2=

For FTP autosave backup. Should I have to connect my FTP server to port1 or port2?

As far as I know, FTP is relevant to the allocated IP address entered in the setup.

Therefore which ever port you have the FTP IP address assigned to should apply the FTP function to it.

Hi,

Currently I am taking FTP autobackup through port1(data port) and working.

But when i connect it to port2 then its not working.

Can anyone tell how to change the autobackup from port 1 to port2? OR in kawasaki autobackup is only from port1?

Please do not duplicate posts (your other one has been deleted).

After '149' posts, you should know the rules.

The only thing I know that is limited and restricted to port 2 usage is software ethernet/ip.

But then again, this is purely down to IP Address scope.

Can you use Port 2 for other things - like online editing/upload/download etc?
