Hi,
why do you want to know about the voltage of RS232 port?
This port is for communication between devices and send/receive data and you couldn't use its voltage.
Thank you for your answer.
I want to do RS232C communication between DX200 controller and BLDC motor communication board.
Industrial devices initially have a voltage level of between 12V and 24V, and I heard that PCs and ordinary microprocessors use TTL level as UART communication with a voltage level of 0 and 5V.
As far as I know, the BLDC motor communication board that I use also uses 5V to send signals.
If the controller sends a signal to the communication board at 24V to 12V voltage, I asked if there would be a problem with the communication board.
The RS232 is a standard port, have your BLDC board this port or not?
If it have RS232 port for communication, you can connect your board to any devices.
as i said, when you use RS232 port, the voltage is not important because it is rend/receive data and you must check your device have this port and support this communication.
Please see this picture. It is the pinout of RS232 port.
Maybe it can help you for more info.
this will not work. There is no I/O communication from the robot to the RS232 port.
