I am setting up a new robot with DCS in roboguide. I've made a user model around my gripper, and different CPC's to protect my robot for crashing. So far so good.
But how can I prevent my gripper from crashing to my robot?
Any ideas?

What software version are you using? In v9 or higher you can create a copy of the robot arm model and do a target-to-target collision check.
It's not possible in older versions (pre R-30ib+). The best you can do in older versions is to use joint limits.
I use v9!
