i have a question regarding Fanuc robot m10ia servo motor.
We have been using this robot for almost 5 years with no issue. Recently there was a issue encountered where there is always a SRVO-050 disturbance excess alarm on j5 axis. I was able to reset it and run for few hours and the error pops up again. when I checked, the status of disturb, it is over the allowed limit. I have tried to adjust the the payload, collision sensitivity and robot program speed, but there is no success, been keep having this alarm intermittently and now it has become worse as there is collision alarm, SRVO-053 and the robot unable to move in auto mode. I did tried to jog the robot manually for all the axis, all the axis able to jog except j5 axis. I guess it could be due to j5 servo motor.
is possible we have this issue due to wear and tear of the servo motor? I would like to know as well if I change the motor, will it affect my robot program thought point?
How can I change the motor is proper way without affecting the robot program? Need help, thank you in advance.
