This is the book "Walking the Narrow Path" https://www.amazon.com/WALKING-NARROW-PATH-FANUC-Story/dp/B000TNOAMM it seems to be almost impossible to find, and completely out of print. Every review I have read of the book says it is a really great read and the story of early robotics really fascinates me. Thanks, Andrew.
