So we are slowly implementing locking T2 out. The only issue I have is if we do this. We are having issues with welding in T1 because our robots were set to im guessing 30% so my question is. What is $MSKT1MOTLIM do? Is that my issue here? I know there are a bunch of variables limiting things but this one I am not sure about.

Set $SCR.$RUNOVLIM to a higher value up to 100.

Sadly it’s already at 100

If the issue you are having running weld programs in T1 is related to the robots speed, there isn't much that can be done other than running programs in T2 (that is the intended purpose of T2 after all) When in T1, the robot speed is limited to an absolute maximum of 250mm/s or about 10% of the robots auto speed. You can set limits/system variables like $SCR.$RUNOVLIM to further reduce the speed in T1, but you cannot increase it. Even if you could increase it, wouldn't that invalidate whatever safety issue you are trying to address by locking out T2?

That is true. What I was trying to figure out is if I am only running 30% of 250mm/s how I could run 100% of 250mm/s. Or at least enough to make sure the weld doesn’t burn through or etc. while welding in T1

You can run 250 mm/s if the override is set to 100% and the motion is at least 250.
If 250 isn't fast enough then you have to run in T2 or Auto.

Thank you.

Is your robot on an RTU?
T1 kicks aux axis speed down to 10% irrelevant of linear speed.
