I am looking for software that can interface with industrial robots from a PC mainly for program revision control.
Company has FANUC and some ABB robots at various locations ranging in age. Would like one solution, if possible.
Features would include: multiple tiered account access (i.e. programmer > operator), selecting and loading programs from server to controller via PC, save to server via PC based on tiered approval. activity log, etc.
The idea is to interface with the robot using a PC rather than the teach pendant and to keep personnel from saving programming onto server without authorization. An activity log with date and time and possibly a revision history log for all server saves would be desired, as well.
