Hi friends,
I have a KUKA KRC2 2012, and I wanted to ask you guys if you know a way to test the KCP2 membranes before opening and putting directly on the controller? Some sorda equipment, flat extensor or something.
Thank you very much.

"Membranes"? You mean the pendant keys?
I'm not aware of any such means offhand.

Hello SkyeFire,
Yes, the keypad, like the photo attached -
like all keyboards, this has to be using matrix. to test any key you can use continuity check. depending on technology, resistance of the contact will vary. it is close to zero for "clicky" keyboard (ibm, zenith, cherry etc.) and it could be hundreds of ohms for membrane. either way testing one at a time is painfully slow. it would be be easier to make own keyboard scanner or buy one like IPAC2.
