The standard telnet connection to Kawasaki controllers uses port 23 via the Controllers IP address.
With KROSET or PCAS, it uses port 9105 via 127.0.0.1
If you can establish a connection, then can you successfully send a different command where a positive response can be seen like just turning on an output using the command:
SIGNAL 17

Regarding your solution.
Something that comes to my mind for your consideration.
During the load process on a standard controller, depending on data that is being loaded there are instances where controller provides a prompt for the user to input during loading such as:
- Are you sure 0:No 1:Yes 3:Exit 9:Force load
I was just wondering whether this 'confirm' is looking for user input like in standard controller.
If you are just loading data that does not require user input, then there will not be any input request from user, so would be just looking for completed response perhaps.
Just thought I would mention that in case some instances, you have same problem occurring.
