Hey,
I'm mapping IO signals in my fanuc robot.
There is communication between PLC and robot via EthernetIP.
I've configured controller, everything woks. Now I have another problem - how to map UOP signals ( e.g. Fault reset, Start) to Ethernet IP signals?
Now my DI Ethernet IP signals starts from DI89. Should I in background program insert line e.g. UI[1] = DI[89]?
Or how to do it correctly?

No, inputs cannot be controlled programmatically.
UI/UO mapping method is same as DI/DO mapping.
Both may be mapped to the same or different points.

Luckily, I was working on the I/o setup
This is how you relate the UI to the DI. Similar setup for the UO/DO
You might change the Di[33-512] for you application

Thanks!!!

We always leave the first 32 bit alone. We use them for Fanuc stuff or some other signal that we considered system.
Also on the DI you can just write [1-512] 89 1 1, we just like to break it two for better understanding
