ALARM 1649 _ Mode Signal Error

    What generation of controller? Most times I have seen this it is a wiring problem. Could be the programming pendant, cable, or where the wiring splits in the controller. Could be a fuse.


    What is the message at the bottom of the pendant?

    It is a DX100 or newer. You can press SELECT on the alarm and see the troubleshooting details. There are multiple sub-codes for this alarm. Use the forward and backward arrows on the screen to see more information.
