The company i work for bought a used dual robotic cell. The cell came with 2 Fanuc 120ibe robots (G1&G2) with RJ3-ic controllers and 2 rotary indexing tables (G3&G4); however, it did not come with welding power supplies. We purchase 2 used Lincoln Powerwave 455m power supplies that were customer refurbished. The welding power supplies are currently hooked up to the system. I can run both feeders, energize the weld wires for touch sense and etc through the weld outputs. The only problem I have is I cannot "see" equipment 2's weld output or analog outputs. I have tried function key and selecting change equipment, yes equipment not group. the screen looks like it refreshes but the blue line still says E1. I have also made sure i am on group 2 with the shift coordinate/change group and still wont switch. I have looked and both arclink channels are working. I have done a controlled start and gone through the equipment setup from the arc tool manual. What am i missing? or doing wrong?

If you want to change the Equipment on a selected screen, you need to SHIFT + DISP and select Display Equipment. Sometimes you need to double screen and try in the other screen to get it to work.

Thanks for the reply. it work as you stated. I may have an old copy of arc tool and the manual didn't tell me that small but very important detail.
many thanks

I figured it out the hard way; it is definitely not stated in the manual. No problem.

I just wanted to recap on pressing the function key and selecting "change equipment". i think this is for changing equipment when group coupling multiple groups and equipment.

Yes, I believe you are correct. I have not seen more than one equipment used per group before.
