Hi, we have a fanuc mate 120ic with a cp1616 profinet interface. I want to convert this to device-net. I have access to a device-net card from a Fanuc r 2000ib. I assume they are interchangeable. I notice that the cp1616 is in a separate module, but that and the device-net would plug into the same backplane. Would i need to remove the module with the CP1616 card. We have other robots configured for device-net.
Would we need to install device-net software separately or could i copy configuration setup from one robot to this one. Your help and advice will greatly appreciated.
