have been for years. Anyway I wanted to
Learn how to use a robot myself, 4 of these came in, one had cosmetic damage so I dragged it down to my barn to start learning.
I was able to teach points, make arcs, do backups, simulate I/O, ect.
Then I let my friend hold the teach pendant for about 5 minutes. Well, he got deep into it and it’s all whacked out. I’m not going to miss any TP programs.
So I do an init start. This robot was running production before it made it to my barn.
Seems to be that there is some safeguard in place, won’t allow me to return it to straight factory. I removed the CF card from the cabinet, tried to init start again. Same thing, it’s pulling a backup from somewhere. All programs from production are still there.
Is there a system variable I can disable so I can get this thing to straight factory?
