dissable External axis

Hi,

just a short question is there possibility to disable external axis without safe operations?

In the certain point of the program I want to make sure External axis 3 doesn't move. It will be programmed to not move, but the program will require reprograming and I want to prevent programming errors.

Is E3 synchronous or asynchronous?

Hi, yes E3 is synchronous

Is it integrated into a kinematic system?

If not, you might be able to "disconnect" the E3 axis, much the same way is done for droppable servo guns. But if E3 is integrated into, say, a 2- or 3-axis positioner, then that trick isn't available.
