Hello experts,
I want to create a subroutine which will allow the robot to go back to the HOME position in safety conditions in order to EXT Start the automatic mode. I want this procedure to be executed in case if there is a power drop and the robot controller has to be restarted and the current line program which he was executing will be lost.
I was thinking about using FLAGS after each movement in order to track where the robot stopped, but if the power drops and the controller is restarted I was wondering if they still remain TRUE?
I am limited in with the movements in all axis X,Y,Z in order to don't hit anything soo I must be pretty precise with the HOME path.
Also I was wondering if there is something to monitor permanently the X,Y,Z coordinates to know if the robot is in ZONE 1,ZONE 2 and when the operator powers up the controller to check the ZONE and then run the specific program to return HOME.
For example if the robot coordinates are in the interval X [1000-1200] Y [300-400] Z [700-800] this will mean he will be in ZONE 1 so he will need to go X,Y,Z ( 1100, 350, 750) and then X -600 to reach the HOME point in safety. I hope this makes sense to you.
