KR C4 EtherNet/IP 1.0

EIP 1.0 is a software option for KSS8.2. Supported functionality of that software is Ethernet/IP scanner ("master") and Ethernet/IP adapter ("slave").

terms master/slave tend to be not popular with language police. people with thin skin people and those that see racism or skin color everywhere. so the sensitive ones were sometimes called snowflakes but even that word was deemed unacceptable. to deal with them, oppressed manufacturers tried to come up with terminology that does not rub anyone the wrong way and invented alternatives like "scanner/adapter" or "controller/device" etc.

btw. why would you suggest version to KUKA? they are supposed to propose it to you based on your system info. for example why go for old 1.0 when newer 1.1 may do (both work for KSS8.2). i would always go for newer version. there is a reason someone decided to create a newer version.
