I am looking to buy a KUKA software package for my research lab that will allow us to implement a custom PID controller that will output various joint angles given some input sensor measurements in Java. In addition, we are looking to create a custom ROS driver for robot arm that will work with ROS control. We don't have any critical/hard timing requirements as the robot is used for research and we are more interested in implementing various control strategies. We are on a budget so we are only looking to buy one of the packages and since there is not much information online about each package I created this thread. I don't know if this is relevant but our KUKA LBR IIWA 14 arm is mounted on the KUKA KMR 200 base, and the application we will use it for will involve the base navigating to various stations, where the arm will perform various tasks using some of these custom controller strategies.
