Hello.
I'm doing an internship for a year in my company with a Yaskawa robot (We're using it to weld). I've made some research about some software but I would like to have the opinion of people using those softwares for actual work.
So far, I've seen three softwares :
1/ RoboDK
2/ RobotMaster
3/ Almacam Weld
I've had some meetings with nearly all of them besides almacam (the meeting is set for next thursday)
RoboDK is basicaly great and not that expensive. The thing is our robotic cell and everything around it needs to be perfectly implemented inside the software. So I don't think we'll go for this one. (Mostly because I'm from France and if we have any problem with the software and we need to call the maintenance service, we can only call during the afternoon because of the jet lag)
RobotMaster look great and fairly easy to use once we had some time to use it.
Almacam Weld is the one i'm really looking at. In france, it's sold by Motoman Yaskawa so in my opinion they should be the best.
But the great thing about both robotmaster and almacam is that they send someone at my company to measure everything in our robotic cell and implement it inside their software.
Maybe I'm not clear enough about what I'm looking for so I'll just rephrase it.
Which OLP programming do you think is the best and easy to use? And which one would you recommend?
Thanks!
