    For a profinet communication and exchange variables/strings we need to use the same comands like in TCPIP communication?

    I just need to receive a variable to decompose in position of the robot!

    Anyone can help?!

  • I had one project having a laser sensor. The distance from the laser sensor was sent via profinet to the robot.

    r.sdistance = BITS(i.sdistance, 16)


    From which device the robot will receive that value?

  • Yes, i do. From the PLC you can use the MOVE block and the Input of the block it will be the value that you want to send and the output it will be the output from the PLC send via profinet. The output from the PLC it will be an input for the robot. I have used word for this value.
