I can find SearchL function from the manual, but i am unable to find it from teachpendant.....
From where to search ? Or I have to load these functions from some kind of floppy ?

Which BaseWare is loaded, BW2.0, 2.1, or 3.0? I know SearchL is in BW 2.1 and newer, I don't have clear memory about BW2.0. There is a Search instruction on the S3 that I used for destacking a few times. Since BW2.0 is between, I assume BW2.0 would have some variation of search.
Hmm From where i can look up baseware version ?
Is it possible to update it to 2.1/3.0 if it is 2.0 ?
Kristo
Using a text editor, look at the disc.id file on one of the software boot disks. It will give the software type in the that says 'label text'.
Updating depends on the hardware you have and having the proper software.
Perhaps this is a problem of the engine, most likely it is an increase in the load on the shaft due to jamming of the drive.Or the problem may be a mechanical failure of the electric motor.

Yep, it came from Advanced function disc. Now i got it .
But still. I have DSQC 335 Robot computer
DSQC325 Main CPU
DSQC 323 memory board
What is your experience Skooter, is it possible to install here 2.1 or even 3.0 ?
Those are the latest boards. You should be able to load either BW2.1 or BW3.0. The DSQC335 should already have the newer EPROMs needed for either BaseWare.

Hi Skooter
Seems great
Do you have the boot disks for 3.0 to me ?
EPROMS ARE 3HAC 6383-D63
3HAC 6282-1 D62

Skooter have you got some toughts about that ?
Is it possible ?
The EPROMs are the latest and last version for the S4.
I don't have the BW3.0 disk set for your IRB6400.
BaseWare 3.0 for the S4 comes as disk set where each disk has the robot's serial number encoded. After loading the first disk, all the other disks loaded must have the serial number matching the first disk.
BaseWare 3.0 for the S4C comes with a boot disk that has an imbedded key on how to load the BaseWare software which comes in a non-serialized package just like BW3.1 & BW3.2.
Hmm, So i should ask from ABB ? is it even possible to get it from there ?
