Replaced robots speeds from 750mm/sec to a register 1 = 750

    So i replaced all the robots Linear movements from 750mm/sec to a Register which equals 750 (the register is still in mm/sec. This robot applies glue to a part and now my glue lines are way off!!! Can anyone explain to why this would happen.


    THe reason Im switching the speeds to a register so I can easily try faster speeds to increase cycle time which I will have to pump out more glue but our system can handle that. I attached a photo hopefully its big enough if not I can post a new picture. This is just one section of the part and the glue line is off pretty much on the entire part

    What version of controller are you running? I tried this out in roboguide with a V9.10 and a V8.30 controller, and they both repeat the same path with or without indirect addressing of the speed.


    I could see it happening on a much older controller, such as a V6.40 or something like that.
