X40 connector for KRC2 SafeOp

yes it is Harting DD but only have list of parts with Kuka article numbers. Hope this still helps, at least to show to supplier:

then stop trying to get them from KUKA. KUKA support for this ended 10 years after these robot systems were discontinued. but...

those are just standard Harting parts and should be readily available. just call your Harting connector supplier and show him the picture. also other manufactures make the same things as well ("passt-genau" / " exact-fit") so may want to check them too (Weidmuller, ILME, etc.)

I understand Kuka support has ended for these. Asking if a person who went through the same happens to have a parts list seems logical and would help others in the future in the same scenario. Harting has 10's of thousands of parts and searching for them is time consuming. Turning a multiple hour job into mere minutes by ordering a handful of parts from Mouser makes sense to me.

one can do this on their own ...or ... let the supplier come up with something. when i am pressed with time, i ask suppliers or manufacturers for help. they want your business and this is why they have product specialists. part of their job is exactly this. why are you not willing to pickup the phone?

If you call your local electrical distributor, they may bring their kits and test it on the spot. if you tell them that you are expecting large volume of those, they are likely to send you free samples. btw. you can order free samples directly from Harting website, without ever talking to someone....

don't see why this should be hard. post #2 shows that this is DD series and inserts are 12-pos.

Thanks panic mode. I ended up using the Harting configuration tool on their website and it spit out the parts needed. For anyone in the future finding this I used:

1x 19 30 016 0428 HOOD

1x 19 00 000 5098 GLAND

1x 09 14 016 0361 FRAME

2x 09 14 012 3101 INSERT FEMALE

2x 09 14 012 3001 INSERT MALE

25x 09 15 000 6101 PIN MALE

25x 09 15 000 6201 PIN FEMALE

I ordered extra pins as I have been known to screw a couple crimps up. Not all the inserts on the robot side are used anyway

that looks good. this hood is top entry which should not matter but i think the hood used by kuka had side entry
