Reading Positions of KUKA KRC 4

    Hello everyone,

    I just started to work with kuka 2 months ago, i try to read the position of the tool and i have read the manual but no luck getting any information, i read a manual about serial commination but KRC4 doesn't have serial.

    I don't know how to read the position of the robot and through what?

    it will tell you what to watch for, where to find documentation and what is a good way to ask for help.

    always stick to correct version of documentation. in this case you were focusing on old one, something that is at least one generation out of date,

    if you want to see what controller can connect to, check what ports is has. serial port is not there.

    today all communication is Ethernet unless one must connect to older system. RS232 is not supported on KC4. Current systems have options of EtherCat, EtherentIP, ProfiNet, and through some adapters/gateways, other options are possible.
