Create the system form backup using robotstudio, then modify, removing spotwelding option and the additional axis. I think that there will still be a jumper required for the external axis PTC (overtemp). Refer to IRC5 manual for drawings.
Make a backup. Create system from backup in robotstudio. That is located in the controller tab, installation manager. System builder for RW 5, Installation manager for RW 6. In the file Tab click help for manuals and guidance.

You should be able to use this, add it to robotstudio, when you build the system tell it to use newer robotware.
ABB does not earn money from RW versions, merely the keystrings, license files, etc. to unlock usability.
Try contacting your local ABB (Robotics) Tech Support team and asking for a link to download the desired version.
