Export path - ROBOGUIDE

  • Hy guys.


    I wish to run a program in RoboGuide and then register the path (point by point if possible) in text or sheet file. I want to use this as the path for a robot other than FANUC. It is possible to do that?


    I am aware of the Target and Target Group resource but don't know if is useful for me.

    As far I know, Roboguide only output FANUC formats (.tp or .ls)


    You can try to use a second simulation software, as Process Simulate, to act as the "man in the middle". But You will need the licenses for PS, for the other controller, and so on. Or, at least, know someone who can do this for You.


    You can also do this hard way, recording the points in Joint representation inside Roboguide, and after reproducing this on the target robot. But I really don't now if the effort will be worth it.

  • And to be honest even if you export the points in raw joints data, other robot could be in completly different position due to different arms lengths etc...
