What is the difference between the Port 2 IP Address and the Ethernet/IP Safety Address on the same page?

That's my fault, I should've done that in the first place. I haven't even found that in any of the screenshots of the E Series controller operations manual, etc. Wonder if this is a Ford Spec?

I try to clear out the address of one or the other and cycle power. It boots back up and the address is repopulated and I get the duplicate address yet again.

Port 1 and Port 2 are two individual IP configurable ports.

However, Port 2 can be used for software ethernet/ip without the need to purchase a separate fieldbus board and ethernet/ip module.

Port 1 cannot be used for ethernet/ip.

It is directed towards usage with Cubic S Safety Module, so it can be connected to ethernet/ip Safety Network.

I think it is soley for this purpose, so without Cubic S installed, would not be configured (not Ford spec, this is available on all controllers as option I think).

You may need to confirm this with Kawasaki though...….
