RJ3iB restore backup from Boot menu not working

    I have a RJ3iB that has hangs on a controlled start. I have a full controller backup (not image) that I am trying to restore. When I try to use the boot monitor (press F1 and F5 while cycle power) to do a backup restore it clears the sram but doesn't load the backup files. the message reads "loaded 0 files" and goes back to the boot menu.


    I tried doing an init start but it still hangs during the following controlled start.


    Of course I don't have the original system software and the F# isn't licensed so Fanuc tech support won't help.


    anyone have any ideas?

    Well, you probably should have had an image backup. A file backup won't do much good now.



    Can you post a screenshot of what backup files you do have? Also are they at the top level in your flash drive or memory card, not in a folder?
