Which version of VMWare are you using? I have discovered the hard way that my OLs didn't work on versions 16 and up, so I am sticking to the latest 15.

Interesting comment, dexterv
i've noticed some problems here after upgrading VMware Player to 15.5.
In the next days I'm planning downgrade to 14.0 and see what happens.
over the years i have seen some issues with certain versions of vmware software.
right now using OL8.5 with vmWare Player 15.1.0 build-13591040 on Win10 for about a year
Update: since I coudn't handle my own curiosity in this regard, I did the downgrade from VMware Player 15.5 to 14.0 now and this solved the problem. OL up and running. I will try 15.0 later.

I used vm15 to run officelite 8.2. I guess it might be the VM version. I'm going to try a lower version.
I changed my VM to version 14. Ol is OK.
Good morning,
I use OFlite V8.6.OL_BUILD02 with VMware® Workstation 15 Playe 15.1.0 build-13591040 but I do not have access with this VMware to the vmnetcfg.exe file in the VMwarePlayer directory to access VirtualNetwork Editor in order to modify the DHCP parameters of the NAT, VMnet8 or Vmnet0 card of the bridge. It seems that in the forum, it is necessary to mount in WMware PRO. Has anyone upgraded to Oficelite 15.1.0 to get Virtual Network Editor?
I didn't understood what exactly You want to do, but VMware Player 15.1 always worked fine for me, even for networked operations, and OfficeLite documentation states You can use Player or Workstation, as You wish.
Thank massula for your reponse.
In VmWare, if you want to play with the BRIDGE configuration, you have to access the settings of the VMNet 0 card, so you need the "Virtual Network Editor" interface of WMware like the attached photo. But WMWare Player 15 doesn't have "Virtual Network Editor" which can display Wnet0 card. For that, it would be necessary to go up in version of WMWare above the 15 I think.
As you seem to have had problems with OfficeLite using MWare 15.5, I was asking which version maximun was tested.
But I think you gave me the solution. You have to switch to WORKSTATION and not PLAYER.
