I am working on a TMB200 SCARA Robot (http://www.ktisolution.com/Pro…Robotic%20Arms-TMB200.htm), and since it is rather old, it has an RS 232 port in its controller.
My question is in what language can I write a program that allows me to send commands to the controller over the RS 232? A predecessor of mine wrote a very short program to test the robot and it apparently worked by sending it over the RS 232 vie HyperTerminal (although this didn't work for me when I tried the same thing):
RUN
MOVX 100
MOVY 500
STOP
Does anyone know what language this is and if so can you link it to a library of all the commands?
