Robot Booting issue

    Dear all,

    We have Fanuc robot R2000ia, 210 F With Rj3B controller and R2000ia 210 F with Rj3iC controller for Spot welding application, by using Boara servo gun.

    Our problem is when we restarts robot then it is not starting with orignal backup, it needs I start (initialization) & if we do i starts then all program gets disturbs & needs reteaching.

    Can anybody suffered with this issue?

    We need solution on this, so please contact on below details.

    Imp. Note- We have purchased these refurbished robot from General Motor U.S.A. and they have modified PMC as per their requirement.

    If you are comfortable with circuit boards, try this:

    Make an Image backup.

    Turn off the disconnect.

    Make note of the cables going to the Main Board, disconnect the cable from the Main Board.

    Remove the Main Board and reseat the CPU/DRAM, FROM/SRAM and Axis Control modules.

    Reinstall the Main Board and the connecting cables to the front of it.

    Power the controller to the Boot Monitor and restore the image backup.

    It has fixed booting issues for me many times over the years.
